How does one get there? Fly to Mexico City and then Drive? Is it safe? Hotels in your area for someone wishing to come down and check it out? One can go to El Portal or Explorer and Go Mexico to see the array of Hotels, B&B’s to choose from. To stay in a nice Mexican B&B the rates are extremely reasonable, and the walk to the Jardin in just a couple of blocks. The Jardin is the center of the historic Centro, sort of looks like Sonoma Square or the Healdsburg Square.
