Did you think your kiddos missed all the Easter egg hunts in Sonoma County this year? …or, maybe they just didn’t get enough? Have no fear.  Here’s a list of family Easter fun and events taking place ON  Easter!

Easter Egg Hunt at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park: Kids 3 and older can visit with the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs in a meadow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. There are three times: 11 a.m. for kids 3-5 (free), 11:30 a.m. for kids 6-9 ($5) and noon for kids 10 and up ($8). Meet in the campground’s Lower Meadow for the hunts. A barbecue lunch will be available for $10 a plate starting at 11:30 a.m.. 2605 Adobe Canyon Road, Kenwood. Reservations required: 833-6084.


Easter at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn: Back by popular demand, Monsieur “Easter Bunny” will host a traditional Easter Egg hunt at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Meanwhile, the family can enjoy a Sunday buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $99 adults, $49 children 5-12, free for kids 4 and under. 100 Boyes Boulevard, Sonoma. 939-2415.


Hunt for the Hare at Safari West: Kids of all ages can enjoy brunch on Sunday, followed by an egg hunt and a cross-country “Hunt for the Hare” on the African savannah of Safari West. Choose from the 10 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. start time. Cost is $68 for adults, $35 for kids 4-12. Brunch only is $40.50 for adults, $18.50 for kids 4-12. 3115 Porter Creek Road, Santa Rosa. 579-2551.


Peep Fling and Peeps Diorama Competition, plus Egg Hunt: The Rio Nido Roadhouse will celebrate “Peeps Through the Years” with a Peeps Diorama contest and a Peep Fling Competition at noon Sunday. Catapults must be safe and of original design, with no electricity, gas, explosives or compressed air allowed. For the dioramas, Peeps are available at the Roadhouse one week in advance.
