Today’s Guest–Buyer’s Agent Perspective-tips and tricks for getting your OFFER ACCEPTED!

Jeri Creson, Broker TotalAccess Realty Advisors, is our special guest today on the show. I “met” Jeri on-line through her very thoughtful, measured responses on Trulia.com. I thought “This is the quality Realtor the consumer needs to hear” so I invited her onto the show and she accepted! Here’s her take on her marketplace. You can see by her level of writing she’s a very smart, articulate Realtor and UNDERSTANDS her marketplace:

My market area is the Northern Los Angeles/Pasadena area.  This area encompasses a very trendy, up and coming area of Los Angeles called Eagle Rock, as well as the Northern part of the San Gabriel Valley.   My market demographics could be characterized largely of creative, artistic-minded individuals often involved in the entertainment industry, who tend to prefer eclectic and historic architecture as opposed to traditional suburban sprawl.  Los Angeles is unique in it’s heavy concentration of focus on Hollywood, and the film industry in particular.  This area is located safely away from the center of the Hollywood commotion, and tends to draw those who are involved in entertainment, but are no longer drawn to the exposure, glitz and glamour of Hollywood.   You might say, it’s an urban retreat zone. 

Pasadena is often the stomping grounds for college professors, intellectuals and other educationally-oriented individuals drawn to the area for it’s beauty, ample supply of museums, parks and historic sites which provide a serene habitat and lush quality of life.

 Licensed for 23 years in California, Broker since 1998.  Jeri has closed over 300 career transactions.   She cuurrently owns TotalAccess Realty Advisors as Broker/Owner. Jeri also is the VP and Managing Broker of BJ Property Management, Inc. - a mid-sized PM company that manages approx. 780 units currently.   She has been active with non-profit organizations regarding public policy for affordable housing, and accessiblity issues, and teach first time homebuyer courses. 

 

Jeri’s current focus as a listing agent is on foreclosure prevention through the short-sale process, and education to help consumers find the information they need to make the best, informed decisions regarding their current situation.  

 

 As a buyers agent, currently, her focus is on educating the consumer about the realities of the foreclosure market, and teaching buyers how to prepare themselves to be successful bidders, and at the same time, protected in this current, topsy-turvy market.
