Allison with Ryan and Emma–granddaughters!

I grew up in Marin, but my heart was in Sonoma County. As soon as I could, I moved north to Petaluma, then Sonoma, and finally settled in Santa Rosa in 1995. I have 4 kids (3 at home), two beautiful Grandaughters, 3 cats, 3 dogs, a little chaos…and a lot of love.

When I’m not working, I spend most of my time with the kids and grandchildren. We enjoy camping, the beach, Tahoe….pretty much anywhere there’s water. We also love day trips to Santa Cruz and San Francisco. To Chinatown, Pier 39…and never miss our annual winter trip to the Embarcadero Ice Rink.

My hobbies include drawing, painting, home improvements (yes, I have my own toolbelt) tile setting, tile mosaic,…and just about anything you tell me I can’t do. I love a challenge. I enjoy browsing antique stores and thrift shops and like to find a new use for old items. I’ve also recently become re-introduced to beekeeping. My father had a hive in the backyard, but as a child, I was more interested in staying away from the bees.

I am hard-working, genuine and caring, with a smile on my face and a bounce in my step…most of the time. My glass is never half-empty, always half-full…Attitude is everything!!

I have been involved in many organizations over the years including; President of the Piner Elementary PTA , Volunteer for the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County, member of the Community Advisory Board for the Santa Rosa City Council, Member of the Northwest Santa Rosa Neighborhood Association and the Santa Rosa Neighborhood Alliance, and member of the Wildlife Rescue Center, and most recently, Rotary ….all of which satisfy my desire to help people and to be involved in the community.

I began investing in Real Estate about 7 years ago, and received my license close to 6 years ago…just as the market began to drop. So, I know about working hard in this market to get the deal done. I also know the ins and outs of the REO/Bank Owned market…what the Asset Managers are looking for and what makes a strong offer on an REO property. If you’re looking for information about short sales, I can help you there as well.

3 years ago I partnered with Mike Kelly, a 30+ year veteran of Sonoma county real estate….and one of the top agents in the county. Together we are The Kelly~Norman Real Estate Team. As a team we have the skills, knowledge, experience…and most importantly, the time, to provide excellent service to our clients.

Mike has been the host of The Real Estate Hour on KSRO 1350AM, the local news and talk station, for over 16 years. I joined him as co-host 2 years ago. We provide a local alternative to national real estate information. With guests ranging from attorneys, home inspectors, contractors, economists, septic and well inspectors, fiduciaries, etc. We have a lot of fun while getting local real estate information out to the community.Prior to real estate I worked in the field of Retail Management, which easily transferred over to my passion for real estate. I have a strong customer service back ground which ties in very well with real estate sales. My real estate experience is well rounded. I’m as comfortable listing your home as I am finding you a new home. As a buyer specialist and a relocation expert, I focus entirely on you, and your needs. My goal is to find you your ideal home and, working with the listing agent or FSBO owner, negotiate a deal that fits your budget, and your needs.

As a listing agent who also works with buyers, I have a good idea of what the buyers are looking for, what the value of your house is, and where to price it to get the most attention.

Working with both buyers and sellers, I actively network in the real estate community to either find homes that are not on the market yet, or pitch your home to other agents.

I am a Residential Real Estate Specialist, serving all areas of Sonoma County from Petaluma to Cloverdale, Sonoma to Sebastopol and Bodega as well. If you are buying or selling a home outside of the Sonoma County, I can help you find a Realtor with knowledge and experience in that particular area.

As a real estate investor, I understand the investing side of the business and I can help you through the process. If you already own investment property, I can help you with your 1031 property exchange.

I am a Certified Distressed Property Expert, so I am trained for this sensitive market of Short Sales, Foreclosures, distressed properties and displaced homeowners.

With over 30 years of customer service experience, I know the importance of service and commitment…..and getting the job done. Whether a first time buyer, seller or a seasoned investor, I remain with my clients every step of the way to insure the best possible deal, with a smooth transaction…and a happy ending.
